THE 2023 ANNUAL REPORT OF THE COMPETITION COUNCIL WAS PRESENTED
Chairwoman of the Competition Council, Jolanta Ivanauskienė, presenting the 2023 Annual Report at an interinstitutional meeting in the Government this week, overviewed the main results achieved by the institution in the past year and answered questions.
The Lithuanian Competition Council‘s advocacy efforts received international recognition in the Antitrust Writing Awards . The Guidelines on Anti-Competitive Agreements and Bid Rigging in Public Procurement prepared by the Council‘s experts have been voted as one of the five Most Innovative 2017 Soft Laws in the world.
In Antitrust Writing Awards 2017 the Competition Council’s guidebook “Cooperation with public institutions: how to reduce the risks of competition law infringement?” (Guidebook) received an award for the most innovative soft law in the cross-border category. The Guidebook was assessed by 50 international antitrust experts.
